A man has been rushed to hospital after cries for 'help' in a Glasgow park sparked a major search.
Emergency services raced to Queen's Park at around 5.45pm on Tuesday, November 30.
The alarm was raised amid reports of a concern for a man who had been heard shouting for help.
Local residents reported seeing a police helicopter overhead circling the popular park.
Police confirmed a 58-year-old man was traced and rushed to hospital for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.45pm on Tuesday, 30 November, officers received a report of concern for a man heard shouting for help in Queen's Park, Glasgow.
"Officers attended and, with the assistance of Air Support and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, a 58-year-old man was traced safely. He was taken to hospital for assessment and treatment."
