A man has been rushed to hospital following a horror crash in Lanarkshire.
Police were called to the scene of a road crash near the Kildrum Roundabout in Cumbernauld last night.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
A local near the scene told the Daily Record the car was in the bushes in the middle of the roundabout.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.45pm on Sunday, 21 March, officers were called to the Kildrum Road area of Cumbernauld following a report of a single car crash.
"One man, the car’s driver, was taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries. Enquiries into the crash remain ongoing.”
