Man rushed to hospital after 'coming off bike' on busy Scots road

A man has been rushed to hospital after 'coming off a bike' on a busy Aberdeen road.

Emergency services raced to Queen's Road following reports of the incident at around 2:20pm on Friday, January 7.

Police say a man suffered injuries after he 'came off his bike'.

The road was closed by officers and the man was rushed to hospital for treatment following the incident. His condition is currently unknown.

The road was reopened at around 4:30pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 2.20pm to a report of a man coming off his bike in the Queen's Road area of Aberdeen on Friday, 7 January.

"He has been taken to hospital for treatment. The road re-opened around 4.30pm”
