A man has been been rushed to hospital after getting slashed in the face in the middle of Dublin in broad daylight.
The shocking incident happened on Thomas St in the Liberties are at around 1.45pm today.
The man, who's age is still unknown, was rushed away in an ambulance while gardai are now hunting for the knife man.
A spokesperson told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on Thomas Street, Dublin 8, on 29/05/19 at approximately 1:45pm.
"A male, age currently unknown, received slash type wounds following an assault incident and was taken to hospital by ambulance. Investigations are ongoing."
