A man was raced to hospital after being stabbed in the face in north Dublin.
Gardai rushed to the scene of the incident at Poppintree Parade. in Ballymun.
The man, aged in his late 20s, was taken to the Mater Hospital after sustaining a stab wound to his face.
A garda spokeswoman said: "I refer to your query and Gardaí attended an incident of assault this evening, Tuesday 11th May, 2021 at approximately 8.45p.m. which occurred at Poppintree Parade.
"One man (late 20s) was removed to the Mater Hospital with a knife wound to his face. No persons were arrested.
"Investigations ongoing."
