Man rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Clydebank high rise

A 26-year-old man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Clydebank at the weekend.

Emergency services raced to Garscadden View around 11.20pm on Sunday to reports of a serious assault.

It is understood the man was stabbed during the attack.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and was later released.

Police are urging anyone with information on the incident to get in touch.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.30pm on Sunday, 25 July, we received a report of a man having been seriously assaulted at a property in Garscadden View in Clydebank.

“Emergency services attended and the 26-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University hospital for treatment, and discharged a short time later.

“Enquires into the incident remain ongoing.”
