A man has been taken to hospital in Glasgow after being struck by a car.
Police and paramedics were called to Holmhead Crescent in the area of the city at 5.05pm after reports of a man being hit by a vehicle.
As a result of the incident the male was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in the .
His condition is not known at this stage.
A section of has been closed with local diversions currently in place.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We were called to Holmlea Road at 5.05pm after a male pedestrian was struck by a car.
"He has been taken to hospital. Diversions are currently in place."
