Man rushed to hospital after being 'found injured' on Scots street

A man has been rushed to hospital after he was 'found injured' on a Scots street.

Police were scrambled to Main Street in Prestwick at 4.30pm today after receiving reports of a disturbance.

On their arrival, they found a man injured at the scene.

He is currently being treated in hospital for his injuries and his current condition is unknown.

Images from the scene show the area taped off with two cop vehicles in attendance.

Police say enquiries remain ongoing.

A spokesperson said : “Officers are currently in attendance at Main Street, Prestwick after a man was found injured at 4.30pm on Thursday, May 12..

"He was taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing.”
