Man rushed to hospital after being attacked by three thugs in Lockerbie home

A man has been hospitalised after three men attacked him in his own home.

The 39-year-old was left seriously injured after the thugs entered his home in Lockerbie and assaulted him on Saturday.

The incident took place on Ivy Place, around 4pm on Saturday, 20 November sparking a police appeal.

Detective Sergeant Graeme Robertson, from Dumfries and Galloway CID, said: “We are urging anyone with information on who is responsible for this attack to please come forward.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone with CCTV from the area, or any motorists who were near Ivy Place around the time of the incident and may have potential dashcam footage.

“If you believe you can assist our investigation, please call 101, quoting incident 2620 of 20 November.

"Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
