A man in his 60s was hospitalised after being hit by a car.
Cheshire Police were called to reports of a crash on Hutchinson Street, Widnes at around 10.30pm on Saturday (November 12). Officers attended and found the crash involved a silver Ford Focus and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 67-year-old man, was rushed to Aintree Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, he has since been released on police bail.
