Man 'run over' and injured after quad bike stolen off driveway

A man has been left with potentially life-altering injuries after being run over during a theft.

Officers were called just after 12pm on Monday, December 30 to reports a quad bike had been stolen off a driveway in Meden Vale near Warsop.

A man is believed to have been run over in the incident and has received injuries which are not currently thought to be life-threatening, but may be life-altering.

A dark blue, older-style transit van with a short wheel base was reportedly seen in the area at the time.

Detective Constable Louise Foster, who is investigating the incident, said: “This incident happened in quite a remote area, but we would like to speak to anyone who may have information which could help our enquiries.

"In particular I would encourage anyone who saw a dark blue transit van in the area to come forward.”

If you have any information which could help the investigation you should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 272 of 30 December 2019.
