Man robbed at knifepoint by assailant wearing surgical face mask

A driver was confronted by a man with a knife who then made off with the victim’s car key.

The 41-year-old man was walking to his car in Woodland Avenue in Porthcawl when a man in possession of a knife approached him and demanded money.

The suspect then made off with the victim’s car key towards Pant Morfa.

South Wales Police is appealing for information in relation to the incident, which happened at around 11.25pm on Saturday, July 24.

The suspect is described as a slim white male with a local accent, approximately 6ft tall, 25 to 30 years old, wearing a light blue hoodie and a surgical face mask.
