Man rescued from River Clyde after fire crews rush to the scene

A man was rescued from the River Clyde near Bothwell Bridge on Saturday night.

Police , fire crews and paramedics rushed to Bothwell Bridge, near , at around 6.10pm to save the male.

It was confirmed that the man was rescued by fire services.

He was treated on the scene before being taken to hospital for a check-up.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
