Man rescued by fire service after falling from height in Nottingham city centre

A man was rescued by the fire service after falling from a height in Nottingham city centre.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports that a man had fallen from a height of around six metres in South Sherwood Street just after midnight on Saturday, April 27.

Crews used ladders and cutting gear to rescue the man who had a suspected broken leg.

Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service also attended the scene of where the man had fallen.

A Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson added: "Crews from London Road and Highfields responded to a report of a male fallen approx 6m with suspected broken leg.

"Crews used ladders and cutting gear to rescue the male."
