Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said a man was rescued after crews were called to the scene of a kitchen fire on Christmas Day.
Firefighters from Mansfield and Ashfield Fire Stations were called to the scene of the incident on December 25.
At 1:56pm on Christmas Day, crews were called to Woods Hill in Sutton in Ashfield. A spokesperson for the fire service said one man was rescued by officers at the scene.
A spokesperson for the Fire Service said: "Crews from Ashfield Station and Mansfield Station attended a kitchen fire in a flat on Woods Hill Sutton in Ashfield. One male rescued by Fire Service."
