Man remains in critical condition after serious assault in Swansea's High Street

A man remains in a critical condition following a serious assault near the Full Moon pub in Swansea's High Street on Thursday aftenoon.

Police are continuing to appeal for information following the incident which happened at around 3pm on July 18 .

The road was closed in both directions, between the Dyfatty lights and past the pub, and a cordon remains in place this morning, causing some delays in the area.

There were around seven police vehicles at the scene yesterday, along with an ambulance.

A patient was seen receiving treatment at the scene before being airlifted to hospital.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "We continue to appeal for information after a serious assault in High Street, Swansea, yesterday, at about 3pm. A man remains in a critical condition.

"Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with this incident."
