A man has been assaulted by four men who accused him of taking their photograph in a park.
The 21-year-old victim was in King George V Park in Edinburgh at around 2pm on Saturday when police said he was shouted at by four men who accused him of taking their picture.
They followed him into a tunnel, shouting, before demanding money, racially abusing him and assaulting him.
The suspects ran off when a staff member from a nearby shop came to his aid.
The victim had a facial injury but did not require medical treatment.
All the suspects are in their early 20s. One is white, around 6ft tall and slim. He was wearing a black hooded jacket with white lining and black jeans.
The second suspect is black, around 5ft 4in tall and muscular. He was wearing a black hooded top, blue jeans and dark gloves.
The third suspect is white, around 5ft 10in tall and of medium build. He was wearing a black hooded top and blue jeans.
The final suspect is black, around 5ft 6in tall and was wearing a dark jacket.
Detective Inspector Kevin Tait said: "I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident. I appreciate the number of people out and about is limited during these times but for those who were out, I would ask them to consider if they saw these men or witnessed the incident to contact us.
"It is unacceptable for people to be targeted in this way and we will do everything we can to trace the men responsible."
