Man raced to hospital following shooting incident in Kilbarrack

A man has been raced to hospital following a shooting in Kilbarrack this evening.

The incident took place at around 9:30pm at St Berach's Place.

The man was taken to Beaumont Hospital where his injuries are described as non-life threatening.

Gardai are investigating the incident.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí were alerted to a shooting incident that occurred this evening, at approximately 9.30p.m. Sunday 12th January, 2020 at St. Berach’s Place, Kilbarrack one man shot and removed to Beaumont Hospital with non life threatening injuries."
