Man raced to hospital after being found with serious injuries on Scots street

A man has been rushed to hospital after being found injured on a street near Falkirk.

Emergency services were called to High Street, Bonnybridge, at around 5.30pm on Friday September, 17.

Officers say the 54-year-old in a serious condition, but his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.

There are reports the man was treated for stab injuries, however this is unconfirmed at this time.

Pictures from the scene shared on social media showed a number of cops and paramedics treating the man.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called around 5.30pm on Friday, 17 September, 2021 following the report of a man being found injured on High Street, Bonnybridge.

“Emergency services attended and a 54-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment of serious but not life threatening injuries.

“Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
