Man punched on Blue Line in Old Irving Park

A 46-year-old man was punched in the face Friday on a CTA Blue Line station in Old Irving Park on the North Side.

Someone attacked the man about 4 a.m. on an outbound Blue Line train, according to preliminary information from Chicago police. The suspect ran off the train at the Montrose station, 4600 W. Montrose Ave.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, police said.

No arrests have been made, police said.
