Man punched and kicked in Portishead on his way to work

A man needs dental work after being punched and kicked while on his way to work.

The 44-year-old was walking down Combe Road in Portishead at 4.30am on Wednesday (September 16) when he was assaulted.

Three men stole his wallet which contained cash in euros and sterling.

He went to hospital for treatment of cuts and bruises after the ordeal and needs dental work.

His attackers are described as three white men in their early-to-mid 20s.

All three attackers were wearing hoods, caps, or face coverings.

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who can help with their investigations.
