A young man proposed to his girlfriend of four years during the opening weekend of Christmas at Bute Park's lights trail in Cardiff.
Adam Clement, who is originally from Swansea, took his girlfriend, Cassie Kilby, to go to see the lights last weekend.
The visual content developer planned to propose to Cassie at a section of the trail called "Our Beating Heart" - a heart which appears to be beating with pulsing rays from all angles.

Adam said: "I hadn't had an idea of where I wanted to do it. I stumbled across the actual advertisement and video for the light trail. I'm like so massively obsessed about Christmas and it seemed like a magical way to do it."
Adam admits he was initially 'quite nervous' about the big step he was about to take.
He said: "It was probably the quietest I had ever been when walking around Bute Park! I'm surprised she didn't suspect anything sooner. I prepared myself because I knew the heart would be around the end.
"We toasted marshmallows and I knew it would only be two more stops until I would propose. I waited until the crowd around us calmed down a bit so she didn't feel pressured to say yes or feel anxious.
"I had a massive speech in my head and when it came down to it, I can see she knew what was going to be said as she started getting teary-eyed and that's when I got teary-eyed too.
"I got down on one knee and asked the question and she said yes - we were both over the moon."

Adam and Cassie, who grew up in Hengoed, Caerphilly, then enjoyed the rest of the trail while looking forward to spending their first Christmas as an engaged couple together.
Adam said: "Overall, I’m just so excited about the whole experience as it's the next big step in the adventure that is our relationship, and I’m so glad we got such a beautiful place to do it in.”
All slots are being held outdoors within that time and run on a timed basis to ensure the safety of all those attending. For more information on Christmas at Bute Park and how to book tickets, visit www.christmasatbutepark.com.
