Witnesses reported seeing a man 'pour fluid' onto the van before setting it on fire.
The suspect then reportedly drove off from the scene in a red car, in the direction of County Road.
There were no injuries, but damage was reported to another car parked near to the van and the fence of a neighbouring property.

Images show the van has been completely gutted by the fire, with damage to the front and inside.
A joint investigation between the fire service and police is ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
Detective Inspector Ben Dyer said: "Although, thankfully, nobody was hurt during the incident, deliberately setting fire to a vehicle is extremely reckless and we are determined to find the person responsible and bring them to justice.
