Man pleads guilty over baby girl's death

The baby girl was revived by paramedics but died later at the Queensland Children's Hospital. (AAP)

A man has admitted the manslaughter of an 11-month-old girl southwest of Brisbane.

Diquan Lloyd Erwin Fisher, 20, had initially been arrested for murder but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge when he appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court via video link on Monday.

The baby girl was found unresponsive at a home at Corinda in February 2020, police said.

She was revived by paramedics at the scene but died at the Queensland Children's Hospital four days later.

Fisher was 18 at the time of his arrest.

Queensland Police say Fisher and the baby were "known to each other".

Fisher did not apply for bail.

He will be sentenced in Brisbane Supreme Court on a date yet to be decided.
