Man ordered to get alcohol counselling after causing scenes at two Larkhall pubs

A rowdy who caused a scene at two Larkhall pubs has been ordered to get alcohol counselling.

Grant Dunsmore (32), formerly of Balfour Wynd, Larkhall, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week.

He admitted hurling abuse at staff at the Village Tavern and striking a door repeatedly as he tried to get into the premises.

Dunsmore, now of Watson Street, Motherwell, also admitted shouting abuse and threats at police officers at the Raploch Bar and resisting arrest.

The incidents happened on March 23.

Sheriff Ray Small imposed an 18-month supervision order as an alternative to prison.
