A man remains on the run after a 12-year-old boy was stabbed on a bouncy castle at his sister's eighth birthday party.
The youngster was cornered by two thugs who stormed his grandmother's back garden in Bootle and attacked him.
The boy was chased on the inflatable by armed yobs who punched and kicked him before knifing him three times in his leg.
The shocking attack, which led to outrage across the UK, happened in the middle of the afternoon on April 7, at the property on Southport Road.
A large bouncy castle was in the back garden, during the Easter holidays as a large group of children were together to celebrate the birthday.
So far, a 20-year-old man, from Bootle, has been arrested on suspicious of Section 18 wounding, or grievous bodily harm.

The suspect, who is believed to live close to where the incident took place, was quizzed by detectives and released on bail.
Witnesses said there were two men who gatecrashed the children's party, with both playing an equal part in the vicious assault.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "Enquiries are ongoing to identify any further suspects at the moment.
"No further arrests have been made."
The boy who spent a few nights in hospital after he was stabbed is now home after he was discharged.
He is said to be "recovering well" after surgery.
After the attack, the boy's mum said: "I felt sick to my stomach when I saw it happen.
"They then chased my son down the road, into the back garden and on to the bouncy castle.
"One was on top of him kicking and punching him in the face, while the other stabbed him in the leg.
"It was horrendous.
"I'm just relieved he is still with me.

"It could have been much worse as one stab wound just missed his main artery."
Witnesses said the two attackers calmly walked away, without running, down Southport Road.
Investigators have been probing if the stabbing was sparked by stone throwing.
Can you help us keep Merseyside covered?
Family of the 12-year-old said the boy had nipped to a nearby shop, just after 2pm, with a friend and was walking home.
Stones had been thrown between the two of them or at street lamps, a relative added, as they played together.
But they say a grown man wrongly thought a stone had been thrown at his nearby property and so decided to exact revenge.
Police have described the attack on a child of such a young age as "despicable" and say the stabbing was targeted.
