A man on the roof of a police station is in a stand off with officers trying to get him to come down.
Emergency services were called to St Anne Street, at around 7.30pm on Thursday, when police reported the man was on the roof. Paramedics and fire crews are at the scene where officers are attempting to speak to the man.
It is not clear what has sparked the incident but according to witnesses, negotiators are trying to convince him to come down. The man can be seen wearing a black short sleeved T-shirt and black jeans, as he paces on top of the station's custody suite.

Road closures were put in place shortly after the incident began and a number of main roads remain closed. St Anne Street is closed between Fox Street and Islington.
Officers have asked people to avoid the area while the incident is ongoing.
