A 94-year-old man is fighting for his life after being hit by an Audi while on his mobility scooter in Liverpool City Centre.
Emergency services scrambled to Brownlow Hill at the junction of Grove Street at around 9am on Thursday, September 23 to reports of a crash.
Once at the scene they found a 94-year-old man on a mobility scooter and an Audi had crashed.

The man using the mobility scooter suffered serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to hospital by ambulance, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The man driving the Audi stopped and is assisting police with the investigation.
Emergency services are now appealing for help tracing a pedestrian who was crossing the road at the same time as the 94-year-old and gave him first aid.
The force are also encouraging anyone who witnessed the crash to get in touch with them.
