Dashcam footage shows a man cycling around Liverpool with a large knife.
The video footage, from Monday, December 30, shows a man riding a bike down Grosvenor Road in Wavertree at 1.50pm.
As a car drives behind the man on the bike, the rider looks back and displays a knife, before carrying on down the road.
The car then drove down Ash Grove and lost sight of the man.
The driver of the car, who wants to remain anonymous, believes that the knife was flashed to him as a warning.
He said: "In the car was myself and my partner and eight-year-old daughter. As soon as I saw the cyclist pull out in front I mentioned it to my partner and he (the cyclist) then looked back.
"My partner and I thought he was showing us the knife so as to warn us."
The driver told the ECHO that the incident had been reported through Crimestoppers.
