The order prevents Roberts from touching or entering any unattended vehicle without the express permission of the owner, anywhere in Merseyside.

He is also prevented from being on any private home, building, garden, driveway or path, occupied or not, without the express permission of the owner, anywhere in Merseyside.

Community Policing Inspector Chris Taylor said: “This order will I’m sure be great news for residents in the South Sefton area and beyond, some of whom have been plagued by the criminal activities of Roberts.

“Criminal Behaviour Orders continue to be an extremely effective tool and our successful application for the CBO against Roberts in this case shows our commitment to dealing robustly with repeat offenders who have a negative impact on the community.

“Should Roberts breach the conditions of this order, he will be arrested, returned to court and may be jailed.”
