A man has been named as a suspect after a teen was slashed in the street.
Cheshire Police were called to Park Street in Neston, in Wirral, at 11.35pm on Friday, January 27 following reports of a disturbance. Once they arrived at the scene they found a 17-year-old man had been slashed to the side of his head.
The teen was taken to hospital for treatment following the attack. A 34-year-old man has now been arrested and since charged with possession of a knife in a public place and section 18 wounding with intent.

Dominic Deer, previously of Change Lane, Willaston appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on January 30, and was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on February 27.
