Now, we've all been there - you've just parked somewhere and you sit for a little too long afterwards, scrolling mindlessly through your phone.
Mostly this just means you end up being late for something, or lose a good chunk of your day to the internet.
But for one man, not getting out of his vehicle meant he ended up in a rather awkward situation.
A TikTok user from the US named Mark Perpose has shared his embarrassment after 'forgetting' to get out of his car at the garage.
The young man had taken his car in to get some new tyres and found himself stuck in mid-air as they changed them.
In a viral clip on the social media platform, he said: "Guys. I forgot to get out of my car when I brought it to the auto shop to get my tires changed.
"What do I do?"
The camera shows him ducked down in his seat, hiding from view, before panning around to show the view from his car window, up above all the other cars and machinery.
Whoops!
He captioned the post, writing: "This is embarrassing."
More than six million people have watched the clip, with it garnering over 968,000 likes.
Thousands of people also took the time to comment and many were confused.
"What the hell u mean u forgot to get out," asked one user.
Another said: "This is so embarrassing omg and defo something I would do."
"I'm trying to understand how you forgot," admitted someone else.
Others pointed out that some garages do allow customers to stay in the vehicles while they work on them.
