A man from Wirral is at the centre of a missing person appeal as police say they are "increasingly concerned" after the 40-year-old went missing from his home.

Robert Bigland, from Moreton, was last seen at his home on Orchard Road at around 2pm on Tuesday.

Merseyside Police have issued an appeal for people to come forward with any information as to Robert's whereabouts.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Please share and help us find missing man Robert Bigland.

"40-year-old Robert was last seen at his home address on Orchard Road at around 2pm yesterday (Tuesday 8 June) and we’re increasingly concerned."

Robert is described as white, 6ft 2in tall and of average build. He has very short mousey brown hair and was wearing a grey loungewear outfit when last seen.
