(Picture: Getty Images)Police are continuing to search for a man who reportedly jumped into the River Thames from Westminister Bridge.
Police along with the London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade were seen at the bridge on Saturday, August 7 following reports that a man jumped into the Thames.
Speaking to the Standard, a Met spokesperson said the man is still missing and enquiries to locate him are ongoing.
Many took to social media on Saturday to share images of Westminster Bridge swarming with police vehicles.
Ambulances and fire engines were also seen, with eyewitness reports claiming a helicopter and lifeboats were also in the area.

"What happened on westminster bridge? Does anybody know?" wrote another person, who shared a video of the scene they had filmed from the top deck of a passing bus.

A third said: “’There are about seven fire engines, eight police cars, police boat, two life boats and a helicopter. Quite crazy to see and thankfully I was far away from it on Jubilee Bridge. Praying no one is seriously hurt.”
