It's always strange when you find a piece of food that looks bizarrely like something else, and one man's recent discovery couldn't be more topical.
Many Brits will have this week felt as though they were basking in a great frying pan, stretched from north to south, and so it may not come as a surprise to see what some have jokingly dubbed "the latest satellite photo of the UK."
One British man has fried up a rasher of bacon which looks almost like a crispy, sizzling map of the UK, albeit with some parts missing.
A photo of the uncannily detailed rasher appears to show Wales, although a fair bit of East Anglia appears to have been lopped off.
Others have also noted the bacon really shows Great Britain, unless, as some have suggested, "unless there's a smaller piece you can move to be Northern Ireland."

Taking to Reddit, an amused bacon fan - who goes by the username u/Daedeluss - shared a snap of the crispy rasher, writing, "My bacon looks a bit like the UK."
A number of others have agreed with the likeness, with one person commenting: "Pink and slightly burnt. Yep, probably how most of the UK looks after yesterday."
Another joked: "We are going to need a new anthem. Land of hog and glory?"
Others have seen different shapes entirely, with some making out the form of a "shaved bear" or a "kangaroo".
