A student nurse has been left "outraged" after being served a pork sausage roll instead of a vegan one.
Student nurse Jon Halsey had a nasty surprise when he put in a food order to Greggs.
Instead of a lovely vegan sausage roll, vegetarian Jon ended up with pork.
The mix-up over the £1.20 snack is all the worse because Jon does not eat meat due to his religious beliefs.
Jon, 26, of Ashley Down, told Bristol Live: "I am very outraged by my service from Greggs in Broadmead.
"I ordered Greggs from JustEat, as I have done in the past.

"Basically I ordered a vegan sausage roll and ended up with a pork one.
"I am vegetarian and after a couple bites realised that it was definitely pork I was eating.
"I have the order list to prove what I ordered.
"I choose not to eat meat due to religious beliefs and Greggs has acted scandalous.
"How many times have they made that mistake before and how many times will they make it again?"
The sausage roll saga has left him feeling "livid".

Jon said: "I feel real outrage.
"It is my choice not to eat meat and you trust businesses to stop that from happening.
Greggs were contacted on Monday, March 1, and given 24 hours to respond to this story. At the time of publication they had not been in touch with Bristol Live.
