A man selling his former fiance’s engagement ring has written a brutal ad, saying any potential buyer should consider lining up a voodoo priest to break its curse.
The anonymous man advertised the diamond-studded ring on Facebook group 'That’s It, I’m Ring Shaming', where bitter ex-partners flog rings.
The groups’ motto is to ‘shame all rings’, presumably to ease the heartbreak of a relationship split.
The American groom put the 1 carat ring up for sale for £1,675 but cautioned buyers the ring may be cursed, as it “tends to leave a path of destruction behind it”.
In a scathing message he wrote: “Possible events associated with this ring include, but are not limited to: Damage sustained to house, vehicle, heart, downed power lines, fallen trees, swarms of locusts.”

Describing the condition of the ring, the man wrote: "Bought back in May of 2017. This ring is like new condition. Only worn for a short period of time by Satan herself!"
He even said measures would need to be taken to counteract the ‘whirlwind of bad mojo' that would likely ensue following a purchase of the glamorous item.
But despite all this, he assures it’s a good buy. Signing off this post, he adds that he is looking to sell before Christmas. If he doesn’t, he jokes, he’ll throw it into the fires of Mordor.

His comical post thrilled members of the group, with one person saying the man deserved a “standing ovation for the description”.
Another unfortunate post saw members of the group comparing a woman’s engagement ring to a 'disgusting tick'.
The woman proudly posted a photo of her new ring online stating that it is a homemade engagement ring with opal.
The ring is made from an amber-coloured opal stone - but the colour and shape makes it look as though it is bulging.
Cruel social media users compared the stone to fish oil, a tick, kumquat, a boil and a skin problem.
