Man left with head injury after robber pushed him to the ground in Swansea city centre

A man was pushed to the ground and robbed in Swansea city centre. The victim suffered a cut to his head following the incident.

He was approached by a man from a lane leading onto Orchard Street at around 7.30pm and was pushed to the floor and had money stolen from him.

South Wales Police is now appealing for witnesses to come forward and would also like to hear from anyone who might have been driving in the area that could have dashcam footage.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "We are appealing for information after a robbery in Swansea.

"The male victim was approached by a man from a lane leading onto Orchard Street at about 7.30pm on November 24.

"He was pushed to the ground and a small amount of money was stolen.

"The victim received a cut to his head."
