A man was left with facial injuries as a result of a knife attack in Shotts.
The 26-year-old man was rushed to hospital and received after being struck with the blade at around 3.30am on Sunday, October 3.
After leaving a local nightclub, the victim was walking down Easter Road when he was attacked by a thug with a blade.
The man suffered head and facial injuries.
Officers investigating the awful attack are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at that time.
Police are also looking for information on a white van with blacked out windows which was possibly involved in the incident.
