Man left with facial injuries after single punch attack in Fletcher Gate

A man was subjected to a single punch attack which left him with serious injuries to his face.

The incident happened outside the Sainsbury's store in Fletcher Gate in the city centre in the early hours of Saturday, September 21.

Detective Sergeant Simon Carter, investigating the incident, said: "We're very keen to talk to the men seen on the CCTV footage to further our investigation.

"Behaviour such as this will not be tolerated and we want to reassure people that any such reports will be investigated.

"A man has been left with injuries to his face and we'd appeal for any information that could help us find those responsible."
