A man has suffered facial injuries after an assault in the toilets of a bar.
The assault happened just before 12.40am on Monday, May 6 inside the bathroom at Dreem Bar on Westfield Street, St Helens.
Police confirmed t he man who was attacked suffered a cut to his face but declined any medical treatment at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing, with police asking anyone who may have seen the assault to come forward.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police today said: "We are appealing for information following reports of an assault in St Helens town centre in the early hours of this morning.
"A report was received shortly before 12.40am that a man had been assaulted in the toilets at Dreem Bar on Westfield Street.
"The man is believed to have sustained a cut to the face but declined emergency medical treatment.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. CCTV opportunities are also being explored."
