A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after allegedly being stabbed by his girlfriend at a home in Sydney's west.
The 37-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his chest in South Penrith on Saturday afternoon, police said.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital with critical injuries.
Officers said the man's 19-year-old girlfriend was arrested at the scene and was taken to Penrith Police Station.
No charges have been laid.
Parts of the street have been cordoned off as police investigate.
