A man says he was left vomiting into his toilet after chewing a plaster which had found its way into a dish from his local Chinese takeaway. Przemek, 19, said he has tried to contact the restaurant to complain but their number just rings out.
He suspects the plaster came from a member of staff preparing his food and has said he may now have to seek medical attention. He said: “My partner and I decided to order some food online due to tiredness and lack of food at home.
“We ordered food from a Chinese restaurant, with my partner and I having vegetable fried rice and beef fillet with black pepper and honey sauce. During the meal I struggled to chew the food so I took it out of my mouth and found that what I was struggling to chew was actually a used plaster that was stuck together like a ring.

“I’m assuming it must have fallen off of a cook's finger or someone else that was preparing the food, God knows who's. I literally threw up in the toilet straight away, that's how disgusted I was by this horrible experience and I think I should see the doctor for a check-up in case I am poisoned.
“I've sent a photo of it as proof. I tried to contact the restaurant through the phone number provided by JustEat but I received no answer." The restaurant was contacted for comment by EdinburghLive.
