Ayrshire police have launched a manhunt after a man was seriously assaulted in Kilwinning.
Around 2.45am on Sunday, March 27, a 25-year-old was attacked by three men in the Byres Road area.
It's understood that three men were responsible for the incident, described as being in their mid-20s and wearing dark clothing.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Detective Constable Lee Duncan, from Saltcoats CID, said: “We know that the Byres Road area was busy with late night patrons leaving nearby premises.
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault, or believes they saw the men involved, to please come forward. We are also keen to speak with any taxi drivers who may have potential dashcam footage from the area that night.”
