Man left red-faced as his attempt to watch TV on airplane goes "very, very wrong"

Well, this is awkward.

One man's attempt to enjoy a TV show while flying on a plane took an unexpected and x-rated turn recently.

A fellow passenger detailed the embarrassing incident on TikTok, and it's made others howl with laughter - and cringe.

Not long into the flight, it all went wrong for the unfortunate passenger as he tried to relax during the long journey.

A traveller sitting behind him started filming him after noticing that he was seemingly watching something explicit on his phone.

As he zoomed in on the phone screen, a woman can be seen looking very, err, happy with herself.

A fellow passenger became suspicious about what the man was watching (TikTok)

The caption on the video said: "Not sure what the bloke in front is watching on the screen."

The person who filmed the cheeky clip joked: "When your [sic] sat on your flight and the guy in front is having more fun than you."

Luckily for the unknown passenger, there is a simple explanation.

He was watching Channel 4 comedy series Peep Show. starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb, which ran from 2003 until 2015.

A video of the incident has been seen more than 100,000 times (TikTok)

It featured friends Mark and Jeremy who shared a flat in London and hung out with a range of dysfunctional characters, including drug-loving Super Hans.

So not a show for children - but not an X-rated film that you can't watch with strangers surrounding you in a metal tube in the sky.

The video of the mortifying incident has been watched more than 100,000 times since being shared on TikTok.

One person joked: "When you try to relax on a plane and it goes very, very wrong."

Another commented: "Peep Show on a plane, the ultimate taboo."

A jaded passenger added: "This is why I never get my phone out on the plane."

It follows one woman leaving passengers divided after she filmed her reaction to a baby "hitting her during a flight."

Kara Saba was left in stitches after toddler Adeline, sat in the row behind, kept clutching her arm during their flight.

But some viewers said Kara she should have alerted the parent or told the child that they were misbehaving.
