After an action packed Judgement Day in the Pro14 which saw Ospreys beat the Cardiff Blues, Roger Walker headed to Knoll Guest House in Newport on Saturday evening.
He was not impressed with the scene that confronted him, Wales Online reported.
Photos of the guest house show a side table covered in dust and chipped plaster with brickwork exposed beneath.

The managers of the period Victorian house claim the customer was warned about its state before the stay.

"We’re known for the warmth of our hospitality, the comfort of our beds, the freshness of our linen and our splendid breakfasts – quality accommodation at reasonable prices," the description adds.
Roger claims his request for a refund was rejected during his stay, but the guesthouse's owners said he only asked for it at the end of the stay.
He continued: "I could go there or sleep in my car. I thought I would go with it.
"I wasn't despairing, I'm a practical person - I wasn't going to bust into tears. I needed that bed.

A spokesman for the guesthouse said: "We went out of our way to accommodate the gentleman as he arrived after check-in hours. We made provisions for him to be there.
"We said to the gentleman that we were doing work in the hallway which didn't affect the room he was staying in.
"Before his stay we phoned him beforehand to explain there was work. He said he was perfectly fine with it.
"He didn't try to get his money back until the end of his stay."
