Daytrippers who decided a visit to the beach would be a perfect way to relax in the sunshine were left running in fear by a man who found his own way to enjoy the day.
Formby beach, in Merseyside, stretches for miles, and with its iconic sand dunes and hundreds of acres of woods close by, it's a hugely popular location during the summer months.
But it was also the chosen spot for YouTube prankster Alvin Hub recently, who dressed up head-to-toe as a bush to frighten the living daylights out of countless people making the walk to and from the picturesque area, Liverpool Echo reports.
Blending in perfectly with the foliage surrounding him, Alvin waited for unsuspecting members of the public to cross his path before coming to life - and reactions ranged from running away in fear to those ready to fight before breaking into laughter.

The whole thing was captured on camera in a montage of reactions and posted online, with the caption reading: "The Bushman prank yesterday at Formby Beach was the best of all pranks. Everyone was so focused on getting to the beach, but never saw the bushman standing close to the bush under a tree.
"I have never had such a wonderful moment filming pranks, this has been the best so far and it was a privilege to meet some awesome people with best sense of humour."
A few people managed to keep their cool with very understated reactions, while the majority instinctively screamed at the top of their lungs before they could process what had just happened, as seen in the footage above.
The video has been watched more than 80,000 times and is just the latest in a series of scare pranks Alvin carries out dressed as a bush in various locations.
It was a huge hit with his following of fans, as one commented on the clip to say: "Haha that's brilliant mate. That location was excellent indeed. Lots of good scares as well. So funny."
A second wrote: "Another awesome video with awesome reactions. You're amazing. Keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing your next video."
And another joked: "Everyone's a thug until the bushes come at you."
