Man knocked out as melee erupts at Stalybridge station - police now want to speak to these two men

British Transport Police are trying to identify two men after a man was punched to the floor and knocked unconscious on a railway station platform.

A man was punched and kicked multiple times after a fight, which started between two groups at the bar at Stalybridge station, spilled out onto the platform.

The victim was punched to the ground by two unknown men on platform 4, at about 7.28pm on Saturday, October 5.  

The two groups continued to fight, with the victim kicked to the head while he was on the floor.

He was left unconscious for a period of time.

Officers believe the men shown in these CCTV images may have information which could help them investigate.

Anyone who knows who they are is asked to contact British Transport Police TP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 447 of 05/10/2019, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
