BHOPAL: A 35-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Ratibad on Thursday morning. Investigating officer head-constable Rahul Kumar said, deceased was identified as Girdhari Baghel, a resident of Kekadiya village in Ratibad.
He used to work as a daily wager. On Thursday around10 am, when children of the surrounding area went to graze cattle in an agriculture field near Kekadiya village, they saw a man hanging from a tree. They immediately informed the locals, who alerted cops on Dial-100.
Deceased’s family members informed that he had left home on Wednesday morning, saying that he was going for some work and would return soon. He often used to spend night away from home, so family members didn’t approach the police or contact anyone.
No suicide note was recovered from the spot.
