Man killed, two others injured in Central Coast shooting stand-off

Tactical police and specialist negotiators were called to the stand-off on Cutler Drive at Wyong.

A man has been killed and two others have been injured during a tense shooting stand-off on the NSW Central Coast.

Tactical officers and police negotiators were called to Cutler Drive at Wyong about 6:00pm yesterday, after reports of a disturbance.

Video of the stand-off shows police officers with their handguns drawn stationed in a perimeter outside the suburban home as three gunshots are fired.

The alleged gunman was arrested at the home just over an hour later, at 7:15pm.

Police found the body of a 20-year-old Watanobbi man at a home in nearby Maple Circle.

A 45-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

NSW Police said no police firearms were discharged during the shooting but a police officer injured his back while trying to assist the dead man.

The alleged shooter, Bradley White, was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with murder, two counts of shooting with intent to murder and possessing a firearm.

The 40-year-old was refused bail when he briefly faced Wyong Local Court this morning.
